Cancer Center Achievements Earn Comme​​ndation​

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is the first freestanding, non-hospital based, Commission on Cancer-approved cancer program​ in the nation. This commendation also includes Kelsey-Seybold's Breast Diagnostic Center — one of the nation's leading models for fast-tracking diagnostics for women.

The American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer granted Kelsey-Seybold Clinic a three-year approval with commendation for the Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center's achievements in cancer treatment, research, and supportive care.

Nationally Recognized for Excellence in Diabetes Care​

More than 70​ Kelsey-Seybold physicians have earned a prestigious national certification of excellence in diabetes care, awarded by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physicians now represent the largest number of physicians to earn this certification in Houston. Certification through NCQA's national Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP) is achieved by​ following a comprehensive, individualized review process that verifies a physician's adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
 
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has earned a three-year accreditation from the prestigious Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC). Read our Declaration of Quality.
