Cancer Center Achievements Earn Commendation
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is the first freestanding, non-hospital based, CoC-approved cancer program in the nation. This commendation also includes Kelsey-Seybold's Breast Diagnostic Center – one of the nation's leading models for fast-tracking diagnostics for women.

The American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (CoC) granted Kelsey-Seybold Clinic a three-year approval with commendation for the Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center's achievements in cancer treatment, research and supportive care.

Nationally Recognized for Excellence in Diabetes Care
More than 95 Kelsey-Seybold physicians have earned a prestigious national certification of excellence in diabetes care, awarded by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physicians now represent the largest number of physicians to earn this certification in Houston. Certification through NCQA's national Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP) is achieved following a comprehensive, individualized review process that verifies a physician's adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
