  • No referrals. See any Kelsey-Seybold physician — including specialists — with no referral required at any Kelsey-Seybold location. 

  • High-quality physicians – Kelsey-Seybold physicians are top-notch clinicians, with many also teachers who are training the medical and surgical providers of tomorrow. Many of our physicians hold academic appointments at leading medical schools and teaching hospitals in the renowned Texas Medical Center, and we take great pride in the educational commitment and academic appointments our physicians obtain. This role helps to keep our physicians on the cutting edge of new advances in patient care. To become a member of the Kelsey-Seybold medical staff, doctors must meet a list of criteria.

  • Documented experience, background, and demonstrated ability with sufficient adequacy to demonstrate to the Credentialing Committee that patients treated by them will receive care at the professionally recognized standard of quality and efficiency

  • Successfully completed an appropriate medical discipline residency/fellowship training program

  • Maintain current licensure (Texas Medical Board, Drug Enforcement Agency)

  • Are board-certified or board-qualified in their respective medical specialties

  • Adhere strictly to the ethics of their respective profession, work cooperatively with others, and are willing to participate in the discharge of staff responsibilities

  • Are members in good standing of a hospital medical staff, if applicable

  • MyKelseyOnline – Our private, personalized online portal enables members to securely email their doctor's office, view most test results, and directly schedule appointments with Kelsey-Seybold primary care physicians (Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine) and an expanding list of specialists (Endocrinology, OB/GYN, and more).

  • Easy access to our After-Hours Nurses, available after regular office hours and on weekends and holidays to answer health questions, page on-call physicians if necessary, and schedule needed appointments.

  • Saturday sick-care appointments for children and adults available at 4 convenient Kelsey-Seybold locations (Clear Lake Clinic, Fort Bend Medical and Diagnostic Center, Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center, and Tanglewood Clinic).

  • Electronic medical record. Each patient’s secure medical information is available to their Kelsey-Seybold physicians 24/7 through our state-of-the-art EpicCare electronic medical record (EMR). This aids in diagnosis and treatment decisions.

  • Round-the-clock convenience – 24/7 appointment scheduling, same-day and next-day primary care appointments, After-Hours Nurse Hotline, and Saturday appointments at four locations.

  • Virtual Care is available weekdays until 9 p.m., and weekends.
