About Video Visits

Video Visits are available to all established patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, and shortness of breath) or other respiratory conditions. Video Visits are conducted by a Kelsey-Seybold Clinic provider who can immediately screen for COVID-19 and, if needed, direct you to the appropriate level of care or provide a care plan, including sending prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. Video Visits offer the option to conduct a real-time visit with a Kelsey-Seybold provider who can also immediately screen for COVID-19 symptoms and direct you to the appropriate level of care.

How much does a Video Visit Cost:
  • If you are a KelseyCare health plan member (United Charter, KelseyCare Aetna, KelseyCare Powered by Cigna) the cost to conduct a primary care visit is the same as your in-office co-pay.

For patients not enrolled in the above KelseyCare health plans and has insurance accepted by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, we will not collect payment upfront for this visit. We will file a claim for the video visit with your insurance company for payment. Based on your health plan coverage, the maximum patient portion you may be responsible for paying is limited to $49.

E-visit and Video Visit costs do not include the price for COVID-19 testing, if further testing is needed. Depending on the care provided your insurance may be billed for more later.
